Ms Paulina Ngurumwa from KINNAPA Development Programme attended a High-level political forum (HLPF) for sustainable development where Government and NGOs reported on progress under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the United Nations HQ, New York.
The theme of this year is Accelerating the recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development goals at all levels where by in the forum, participants were able to discuss the effective and inclusive recovery measures of addressing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and explored actionable policy guidance for the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs at all levels.
The HLPF in 2023 also reviewed in-depth Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality Education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all ,Goal5: Achieve equality and empower all women and Girls
